Wednesday weather update: Day and Night sessions cancelled

The rain has battered down here at the Domain Tennis Centre all day. and unfortunately Wednesday’s day and night sessions have been cancelled. We’ve had to postpone all matches until Thursday.

Here’s a quick review of the tournament’s wet weather ticket refund options:

– General admission ticket-holders who booked online will be emailed by Ticketek
– If you bought your tickets at the box office, please return to the Domain Tennis Centre or contact Ticketek (1300 888 104)
– For corporate bookings, tournament director Mark Handley will be in touch.

Please note: the following advice applies to individual ticket holders who bought their tickets in advance via Ticketek, or at the box office on the day of the event.

 

Session cancellation

The wet weather options come into effect when a session on Centre Court has been cancelled. At Hobart, that occurs if play has not begun:

– before 5pm for a day session,
– before 9.45pm for a night session.

A session will also be considered cancelled if one match has not been completed or less than an hour’s play has taken place.

 

Exchange or refund

If a session has been cancelled, ticket holders have three options:

 

Exchange your tickets to another session of the current tournament

To pick this option you can exchange your tickets at the box office on-site. Tickets for the affected session can be exchanged at any time throughout the tournament, barring the finals. Exchanges will only be made if the customer presents their cancelled session ticket.

 

Exchange your tickets for the same session in 2016

To pick this option please post your tickets to:

Receive a refund

Terms and Conditions

– No refund or exchange for any tickets received after the cob 1st February 2015
– No refund or exchange unless purchased tickets are submitted
– No refund or exchange on complimentary tickets
– If upgrading to a session of higher value the difference in ticket cost must be paid by the customer
– Exchanges are subject to availability

Please note the wet weather and extreme heat ticket exchange & refund options do not apply to complimentary ticket holders or corporate hospitality ticket holders for which there will be no exchange or refund.
