Purchase Tickets

Tickets for the general public are available from Ticketek online from 4 October, or at the Ticketek Box Office at the Domain Tennis Centre once the tournament has commenced.

Box Office (Tickets)

To purchase tickets (subject to availability), collect tickets or for lost ticket enquiries please go to the Ticketek Box Office, which will be located in front of the Domain Tennis Centre. Patrons collecting, making enquiries, or purchasing tickets from the Box Office should plan their arrival in anticipation of queues.

Please note: It is recommended if you have selected venue/Box Office collection that you collect your tickets prior to arriving at the venue to avoid queues at the venue/Box Office.


Always ensure tickets are purchased from an authorised Hobart International ticket agent, Hobart International Licensed Tour Operator or Hobart International Licensed Hospitality Agents. Failure to do so could mean that access to the Domain Tennis Centre is denied.

Entry gates

All corporate and VIP ticket holders can access the event via the main gate at the rear of the Northern Stand. All general admission ticket holders will be able to access the event via the main gates below the Eastern Stand on Davies Avenue.

Seating allocation

Although Ticketek put numbers on tickets, no seats are reserved apart from the VIP seating in the North Stand. If you choose to book a reserved seat in the North Stand, your seat and box number will be on the ticket and you are guaranteed that particular seat.

All General Admission seats are for the East and West stands, and are available on a first-come first-served basis. If you wish to sit in a particular area in these stands, we suggest you arrive early.

For the Finals Day only, on Saturday 12 January, ALL seating in the stadium is reserved and allocated by ticket number.

Child and concession policy

The following child and concession policy applies to the Hobart International 2018 to be held at the Domain Tennis Centre in Hobart, Tasmania.

Child policy

  • Children aged 14 years and under as at 1 January 2019 can enter for free with a paying adult, with up to four kids allowed free per adult paid ticket.
  • Persons aged 15 and over as at 1 January 2019 are classified as an adult, unless they hold valid Concession identification.

All persons 14 years old and younger must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during the event.

Concession policy

A person must have the appropriate form of concession to purchase a concession reserved seat ticket.
They must present the relevant concession documentation at point of purchase and upon entry into the event.

The following are accepted forms of concession for the purchase of tickets:

a. Student cards: full-time secondary students, full-time tertiary students.
b. Pension concession card: aged (AGE), bereavement allowance (BVA), carer (CAR), aged blind (AGE BLIND), parenting payment (single) (PPS), disability support pension (DSP), disability support blind (DSP BLIND), partner allowance (PTA), sickness allowance (SAL), special benefit (SPL), widow allowance (WDA), widow pension (WID), wife pension (WFA/WFD/WFW), new start allowance over 60 years (NSW/NMA), mature age allowance (MAA), mature age partner allowance (MPA), new start allowance (NSA), parenting payment (PPP/PPS).
c. Veteran affairs and TPI.
d. Healthcare card: exceptional circumstances relief (DR), sickness allowance (SA), special benefit (SL), farm help income support (FFR), new start allowance (NS), youth allowance (YA), new start mature age allowance (NMA), parenting payment (single) (PPS), low income (LI), carer allowance (CD), partner allowance (PA), mobility allowance (MO), and widow assistance (FA), family assistance (FA), child disability allowance (CDA).
e. Personal treatment entitlement card: must be current. Please check the date carefully.

Tennis Australia recognises the companion card program.


Pass-outs will be allowed. Please insure that you retain your valid event ticket.

First Aid

First Aid will be available on site.


Toilets will be located at various positions around the stadium. Please note that there are no external toilets located at the Domain Tennis Centre.

ATM/EFTPOS facilities

There are NO ATM facilities located within the Domain Tennis Centre. To avoid queues please come prepared with cash.

No smoking venue

The Domain Tennis Centre is a non-smoking venue. There are limited designated smoking areas available outside the venue.


Bags may be subject to a random safety and security search upon entry. Please remember bags too large to fit under a seat cannot be brought to the Hobart International.


A wet weather and extreme heat policy exists. More information will be communicated accordingly if required.

Car parking is available surrounding the venue however it is strictly limited and available on a ‘first-in best-dressed’ basis. Car parking cannot be booked in advance.

Disabled parking

A limited number of disabled car parking spaces are available near the main entrance.

Prohibited items

For the comfort and safety of patrons and playersthe following items are NOT allowed into the Domain Tennis Centre:

Alcohol; animals except service animals (e.g. seeing eye dogs, police dogs and horses); any item that could be used as a weapon; beach balls & other inflatable devices; audio recorders; bicycles, scooters, skateboards and roller-blades/skates; camera tripods, monopods, telephoto camera lenses with a focal length capacity of greater than 200mm; video cameras & handy-cams; audio records; any device capable of recording, distributing and/or transmitting scoring data and other statistical information relating to the HI for commercial purposes; drink & food cans; chairs & stools; eskies & hampers; fireworks; frisbees; helium balloons; glass (including bottles); large containers in excess of 1.5 litres; flags, banners or signs larger than 1.2m wide or with handles longer than 50cm in length; musical instruments &/or amplification equipment; unauthorised advertising or marketing material or flyers; laser pointers, distress signals, whistles or loud hailers; dangerous goods and any other item prohibited by legislation.

Note: Prams and strollers are not permitted in seating areas.
