Rogowska upsets No.3 seed in qualifying

Young-gun Olivia Rogowska upset No.3 seed Alberta Brianti 6-1 6-1 to advance to the second round of qualifying.
Top seed Rebecca Marino also advanced, defeating Chichi Scholl 6-4 6-3.
The official draw for the tournament was held at the prestigious MONA Gallery on 6 January.
Top first round match ups will see former world No.12 and top seed Yanina Wickmayer meet Marina Erakovic and No.3 seed Monica Niculescu will play Anna Chakvetadze who won the title back in 2007.
Upcoming talent Ashleigh Barty has drawn flamboyant American Bethanie Mattek-Sands whilst fellow Australian and former champion [5] Jarmila Gajdosova will play Ayumi Morita and Casey Dellacqua will meet Galina Voskoboeva.
Australia’s No.4 ranked player Anastasia Rodionova had fun off-court today when she met some native Tasmanian wildlife at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. View the video here
