The second round match between defending champion Heather Watson and fourth seed Monica Niculescu has been postponed due to inclement weather.
Watson was leading 6-7(3) 6-2 3-1 when rain forced the players off the court.
Tournament staff tried gallantly to dry the court, but efforts were thwarted as rain continued to fall in bursts. The decision to postpone the match was made at 11pm.
The match will resume tomorrow, following the quarterfinal between third seed Dominika Cibulkova and qualifer Kiki Bertens as the third match on centre court.
